About The Opportunity

Deliv is seeking an awesome mobile developer to expand our team of eight “full-stack” engineers (2 of whom spend more time in mobile with you). The role will have you doing Android and iOS development with some occasional Ruby on Rails backend/API work, so you should be strong at one, decent at another, and willing/interested to learn in the third. 

We have a culture of “move fast, and try not to break too many things”. We’re looking to fill this position from our Menlo Park headquarters.

What You'll Do

  • Develop new features for our iOS/Android native apps (Objective-C, and Java).  
  • Feel strongly about moving to swift? Bring it. We’re open to all good ideas and passion.
  • Back up features with corresponding tests (we like tests, on all the platforms!).
  • Help make sure our mobile applications are fast, reliable, and easy to use.
  • Improve our mobile codebases with refactoring, cleanup, and good ideas.  
  • Work with our operations and product teams to plan what we build.
  • Help guide architecture, implementation, and engineering process.

You Are

Your experience may span one year or quite a few, but you're proficient with technologies and you're excited to learn.

  • Ready to shake things up in a stodgy mature industry, using some very cool technology.
  • A passion for e-commerce, crowd-sourcing, and/or mobile development.
  • Fascinated by geolocation data, vehicle routing problems, traveling salesman problems, or figuring out how do we get that driver from here to there efficiently.
  • A real teammate. Culture is critical here. We’ve all got a million things to do, but you’re happy to chip in wherever you can to help your teammates out when they’re underwater.
  • Someone that can roll with it. As a small startup, things get shuffled, priorities change. You understand that. It’s an adventure.
  • Someone who recognizes the art of engineering. We like writing tests, CI, and love code quality metrics. Code reviews are awesome, and you’re always looking forward to learning something new. Engineering brown bags? Pick your topic.
  • Someone who’s comfortable working quickly, with lots of iterations, and shipping often.

What You'll Need

  • One or more year(s) of experience building production Android and/or iOS native apps (objective-c, android).
  • Knowing the corresponding view lifecycles for both platforms.
  • Experience with REST APIs—you should know the REST basics inside and out.
  • Familiar with the git workflow.

Director Network Optimization and Pricing

About The Opportunity

Sales Development Representative

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Deliv is looking for a talented, energetic and driven individual to join our sales team as a Sales Development Representative (SDR). This high impact position is  central to growing our small and medium business (SMB) segment... Deliv is expanding rapidly and we are looking for someone to help drive this growth!

You will be responsible for processing and closing inbound sales inquiries as well as conducting outbound prospecting campaigns (both call and email) in order to identify, qualify and close opportunities within proven market segments.  The successful candidate will be a high energy, go getter and will be be instrumental in helping to achieve the overall sales team’s revenue objectives.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
• Drive revenue generation against defined goals through prospecting, qualifying and closing new business in proven market segments such as floral, baked goods, pharma and others.
• Meet or exceed daily, weekly and monthly activity and conversion and revenue quotas.
• Generate new, qualified SMB leads through a mixture of outbound calling and email campaigns.

SMB Inside Sales Representative

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Deliv is looking for a tenacious and driven Inside Sales Rep to join our sales team to focus on expanding our portfolio of SMB (small and medium business) customers. This segment represents a huge opportunity for Deliv and we’re looking for an individual with 5+ years of inside or field sales experience to dive in head-first, identify and grow new SMB market segments segments. In this role, you will lead all aspects of deal execution, including researching, qualifying, sourcing, screening, defining deal structure, as well as executing profitable deals.

We need creative thinkers and builders with previous sales experience who are passionate about developing new business segments. You’ll be on the frontlines introducing businesses to Deliv while developing and testing new markets and strategies around sales.The ideal candidate has a history of exceeding sales quota, loves the thrill of the hunt, and is capable of building and growing a pipeline of business as a result of outbound prospecting. They think quickly and adjust their pitch creatively and cohesively at a moment's notice.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
• Drive profitable revenue generation for Deliv through rigorous market development, prospecting, qualifying and closing of new SMB business.
• Develop customer account strategies and tactical sales penetration plans for new business segments
• Strategically self-sourcing leads and manage through the entire sales lifecycle to meet or exceed revenue targets
